The purpose of this study is to find out bullying behavior that often occurs among the community, especially adolescents, to find out what types of bullying types and effects are received by victims of bullying through the main character in the film Cry Me a Sad River. The writer uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the type of bullying in the film Cry Me a Sad River. The writer uses the theory of Barbara Coloroso’s (2010) to analyze the film. The analysis results are that the writer found 3 types of bullying behavior that the main actor received. The writer also collects what effects are suffered by victims of bullying. The cause of the main character experiencing bullying starts from the economic factor that the main character experiences, namely poverty so she cannot afford to buy a new uniform. The second factor is the work problem of the main character's mother who has a disgusting job, and the last factor is, when the main character is caught having a disgusting venereal disease, so her nicknamed "The Virus". The effect received by the main character is that she wants to end her life, and then experiences very severe depression. From the movie we can learn that the affection and support of people is the best cure for victims of bullying.
