In linguistics study, code-mixing is when people mix one language with other language in their conversation. Based on the study, the writer identified the problem those are: (1) the types of code-mixing used in Boy William YouTube channel (2) the reasons of code-mixing used in Boy William YouTube channel (3) the types of code-mixing which dominant used by Boy William in his YouTube channel. The writer used descriptive-qualitative method by conducting research at the library and the internet with available information. The writer collecting the data to analyze this study of code-mixing. The object of this study was Boy William YouTube channel. The writer used theory according to Hoffman (1991), there are three types of code mixing is intra sentential, intra lexical and involving a change of pronunciation. Based on the research are the writer getting six episodes in Boy William YouTube channel. Based on the result of this study, the writer found three types of code mixing, they are intra sentential, intra lexical and involving pronunciation of code-mixing. Then, the writer found the reasons of code mixing in Boy William YouTube channel are, talking about being emphatic about something (express solidarity), interjection, repetition used for clarification, intention of clarifying the speech content for the interlocutor and expressing group identity. After that, the writer found most dominant types of code mixing used in Boy William YouTube channel is intra sentential.
