In this paper, the writer discusses about movie. The writer takes the drama genres in movie but decorated with a little comedy. The reason that the writer choose Lady Bird movie because this movie teach us not give up to fight for our dream. The objective of this research is to know what stubbornness found, causes and effects of the stubbornness from research that was conducted from the Lady Bird movie by Greta Gerwig. In doing this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this research indicated that the stubbornness found in this movie are not willing to accept instruction and not willing to change or consistent. Then the causes of stubbornness in this movie is treated in special way by other people. And the effects of stubbornness that detected in this movie bring pain, crying and regret. Stubbornness makes people have many bad signs in daily life and have bad effects to people’s life, either for themselves or society.
