THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENGLISH EXTRACURRICULAR IN UPPER CLASS AT SDN CURUG 02 JASINGA DURING KAMPUS MENGAJAR BATCH 3 PROGRAM

English as international language the most common second language in the world is important to learn. It makes people who is not native English speaker should be able to understand English to communicate to people in overseas. But, in Indonesia, people still have less consideration of how important English is. It is proven by the 2013 curriculum that is not included English in regular class. Therefore, this research aims to help SDN Curug 02 to facilitate the student in the upper class in learning English through English Extracurricular during Kampus Mengajar Batch 3 Program. The writer uses descriptive qualitative methods to describe how the writer implements the program and what the challenges that the writer faces during the program are. The result of this research shows that the implementation of English Extracurricular is successfully implemented. Besides that, the writer summarizes the challenges during the implementation. They are the language difference between the writer and the student, student’s poor literacy skill, passive teacher, and time limitation of Kampus Mengajar Program.
