This study aims to find out how Language Style and Illocutionary are used in the movie "Marriage Story" and how many types of Language Style and Illocutionary used in the movie. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method where the data will be observed and processed and explained descriptively by analyzing the types of Language Style and Illocutionary Act based on the data source. The writer got the data source from streaming movies on the Netflix application and also used the Marriage Story script. Through the data source, the writer tries to analyze the utterances said by the characters in the movie. The results of this study resulted that :
(1) There are five types including Frozen Style, Casual Style, Intimate Style, Formal Style, and Consultative Style where Intimate Style with 16 data becomes the Language Style that is often found in this movie. (2) Illocutionary Speech Act from the data source has been found five types including Declaration act, Expressive act, Directive act, Representative act, and Commissive act where Representative speech act obtained as many as 50 data because there are many utterances that match the characteristics of the representative.
