Teaching vocabulary through game learning method for third grade at sd n pisangan timur 18 during kampus mengajar batch 3 program

Abstrak

This study aims to conduct vocabulary teaching using game learning methods in one of the schools as a place to serve Indonesian education through the Kampus Merdeka program, namely the Kampus Mengajar. The research objectives of teaching vocabulary through game-method learning are more effective, and learning materials are more easily accepted by students. The game strategy is designed to make it easier for students to remember vocabulary. The procedure in this study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, documents, and documentation in the third grade at SD Negeri Pisangan Timur 18, which was conducted for five months. This research shows that teaching vocabulary using the game learning method increases students' enthusiasm and motivation to complete a challenge. Through teaching games, students are encouraged to keep playing and improve their vocabulary. It is proposed that in the future, teachers can apply more interesting and educational game teaching methods that can involve students' activities in acquiring vocabulary knowledge.
