The insecurity analysis of leadership and behavior impact portrayed by the main character in the greatest showman movie

In everyday life, insecurity can occur in any situation, be it at home, at school, or even at work. In the world of work, this sense of insecurity can affect work performance, whether it has an impact on oneself or even affects others. This feeling of insecurity can lead to doubt, confusion, and uncertainty about work. Today many people do not want to be a leader because they feel they are not worthy to lead an organization. This study is to analyze leadership movies about how insecurity can affect someone in leading and what impact it can have when someone feels unworthy when leading. This study uses a qualitative method. The qualitative method is a development of the data collected because it relies more on various theories. In the movie The Greatest Showman, the reason why Barnum wants to be a leader is that Barnum was born in a low caste of life, which made him have the ambition to achieve something big. Based on psychology perspective, in our lives and our leadership, we all experience insecurity. And when we act out of that insecurity we tend to behave badly, sometimes harming our relationships and reputation in the process. The impact of leadership on the main character is based on leadership behavior, Barnum succeeded in making his followers feel trust, admiration, loyalty, and respect for Barnum, and they were motivated to do more than they had originally hoped. To lead requires the right attitude and a person‘s attitude impacts on their relationships with others. Attitudes can, therefore, make or break individuals as they impact interactions with others.
