Bilingualism is a part of sociolinguistics related to code-switching. Code-switching is one way of applying the use of language in everyday life. This research aims to analyze the code-switching proposed by Poplack in a Youtube video. The purposes of this study are to identify the types and the reasons for code-switching used by Hamish Daud in a Youtube video. The dominance of each is also recognized. The data collection used is documentation and descriptive qualitative techniques to describe and analyze the data. The data of this research are texts containing code-switching which is used by Hamish Daud in  Indonesia surga bahari, jangan rusak dengan kesalahan ini! Hamish Daud curhat ke mas menteri  in  a Youtube video. The results of this study show that Hamish Daud uses three types of code-switching in the video and the most dominant type is intra-sentential (50,84%),  followed by  Inter-sentential (40,68%) and Tag (8,48%). Of the five reasons for using code-switching, there are only four categories used in a video with the most dominant reason of solidarity (40,7%).  Audience persuasion   (33,9%),  affection (22%), and social status reflection (3,4%) are other reasons found in this study.
