Idiom is a combination of several words or expressions that cannot be interpreted individually. Every language has an idiomatic style of conveying meaning through a lexical item made up of one or more phrases. This study aims to find and analyze idiom appear in guardian of the Galaxy Vol.3 movie script and divides them according to types idiom. The method that will be used is descriptive qualitative method. The perspectives and insights that qualitative research methods provide on psychological processes and the social contexts in which they are entrenched are distinctive. Qualitative data collecting approaches aim to collect data on experiences, behavior, attitudes, and emotions that are specific to a given situation. The writer found 41 idioms which are divided into 4 types of idioms, namely, partial idioms, phrasal verb, prepositional idiom, and binomial idiom. The type of idiom that appears most often is partial idiom, as much as 56%. The second type of idiom that appears is phrasal verb, as much as 24%. The third types of idiom that appears is prepositional idiom, as much as 16%. The last types of idiom appears is binomial, as much as 4%.
