Pendaftaran siswa baru merupakan suatu kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh pihak sekolah pada setiap tahun ajaran baru. Dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru di SD Khoiru Ummah Sukabumi pendaftar harus datang langsung ke sekolah untuk menyelesaikan proses administrasinya, Proses tersebut membutuhkan waktu yang lama, juga memerlukan biaya operasional lain seperti melakukan pengadaan berkas, transportasi, dan biaya tambahan lainnya. Selain itu, tidak sedikit calon siswa yang mengundurkan diri di karenakan usia mereka yang belum mencapai kematangan dan belum siap untuk masuk sekolah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang baru untuk dapat meyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Dalam perancangan sistem ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode SDLC model air terjun dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, dan implementasi. Hasil  dari penelitian  ini  adalah  perancangan  sistem  informasi  berbasis web untuk memudahkan pendaftar yang ingin mendaftarkan putra-putrinya dan untuk mengurangi tingkat pengunduran diri calon siswa dibuatlah seleksi awal berupa pengisian kuisioner. Pada setiap pertanyaan kuisioner tersebut terdapat poin-poin nilai yang sudah ditentukan oleh pihak sekolah, poin tersebut menentukan apakah calon siswa sudah siap untuk masuk sekolah dasar atau masih harus menunggu beberapa waktu.

Registration of new students is an activity organized by the school on each new school year. In the process of admitting new students at SD Khoiru Ummah Sukabumi the applicant must come directly to the school to complete the administrative process. The process requires a long time, also requires other operational costs such as file procurement, transportation, and other additional costs. In addition, not a few prospective students who resign because of their age who have not reached maturity and are not ready to enter school. Based on these problems a new system is needed to solve existing problems. In designing this system the method used is the SDLC method of the waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, design, and implementation. The results of this study are the design of a web-based information system to facilitate registrants who wish to register their children and to reduce the level of resignation of prospective students, the initial selection is made in the form of filling out questionnaires. On each question of the questionnaire there are points of value that have been determined by the school, the points determine whether the prospective student is ready to enter elementary school or still has to wait for some time.
