Seiring dengan perkembangan Teknologi Informasi (TI) yang semakin pesat, menuntut kita untuk selalu berinovasi, melangkah maju dan mengikuti arus perkembangan tersebut, hampir semua kegiatan dikerjakan secara otomatis. Berdasarkan analisa sistem yang berjalan di MA Daarussalaam ini, terdapat permasalahan bahwa pencatatan data absensi khususnya guru, masih dikerjakan secara manual. Sehingga dalam proses pengelolaan data sering terjadi kesalahan, dan informasi yang dihasilkan tidak akurat dalam proses rekap absensi perbulan, dikarenakan data yang disimpan tidak dalam database, hanya berupa lembaran-lembaran kertas. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu dirancang sebuah sistem informasi yang mampu mengolah data yang terstruktur,  untuk membantu proses kegiatan pendataan absensi guru untuk mencegah kesalahan yang terjadi, membantu proses pengambilan keputusan yang tepat untuk kepala sekolah dan  informasi yang dihasilkan lebih akurat, efektif dan efisien. Analisa sistem informasi dilakukan melalui tahap analisis kemudian merancang sistem yang akhirnya dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan user dalam sistem absensi. Hasil dalam perancangan sistem ini, diaplikasikan dengan bahasa pemprograman PHP dan HTML dan MySQL sebagai databasenya.

Along with the rapid development of Information Technology (IT), requires us to always innovate, move forward and follow the flow of development, almost all activities are done automatically. Based on the analysis of the system running in this MA Daarussalaam, there is a problem that the recording of attendance data, especially teachers, is still done manually. So in the process of data management is often an error, and the resulting information is not accurate in the process of recap monthly absences, because the data is stored not in the database, only in the form of sheets of paper. To solve the problem, it is necessary to design an information system capable of processing the structured data, to assist the process of teacher absenteeism data collection activities to prevent errors, to assist the process of making the right decision for the principal and the information produced more accurately, effectively and efficiently. Analysis of information systems is done through the analysis phase and then design a system that can eventually be a solution of user problems in the attendance system. Results in the design of this system, applied to the programming language PHP and HTML and MySQL as database.
