The purpose of this study was to find out about post-traumatic stress disorder of the main character in The Sky is Everywhere Movie, which was directed by Josephie Decker. In this study, the writers provide data describing post-traumatic stress disorder and also the writer analyzes the types, symptoms and impact of post- traumatic stress disorder on the main characters. In this study, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method. namely by watching the film in its entirety and providing data that supports research. The result of this study, one type of post- traumatic stress disorder is found, namely the normal stress response, loss of feeling. In addition, the writer also found symptoms of traumatic stress disorder, namely, (1) avoidance symptoms: avoiding favorite activities, avoiding places that are commonly visited, (2) arousal symptoms: loss of concentration, irritability , and the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder, especially: (1) changes of mind: absent-minded, not accepting reality, (2) changes in feelings: feeling unable to live anymore, feeling anxious and the last impact is (3) behavioral changes: loss of appetite.
