Cansit Zatalini Mewuvarisan (31170125), The Main Character’s Life Struggle in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Film by Guy Ritchie

This paper presents a prominent study of the positive effects of the struggle and the action of the main character for taking his kingdom in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Film. The method used to compile this paper is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the analysis found that the positive  effects  shown  in the main character’s struggle are the struggle can give the spirit and a help, achieve a dream, change the life for having the better one. The second result of the analysis shows that the action of the main character for taking his kingdom is depicted in internal struggle, for example arthur tried to escape from the attack of blackleg's troops; Arthur's courage to meet his uncle; He tried to save his people  and reclaim his kingdom. While, external struggle is associated with the story in the main character and its relation to other characters, for example a mutual help, Guinevere and Bedivere help Arthur in a fight, Arthur meets an old English family to join a member. This study is importance to be a reading that can motivate the struggle in human’s life.
