Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Movie Directed by Tim Burton

The purpose of this paper is to know the leadership aspect of the character Jake on
Miss Peregrine?s Home for Peculiar Children movie as well as to know the
character development of Jake and the effect of Jake?s leadership style on other
character and. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. This is used to
discover concisely about the aspect and style of leadership about characterization
show in the movie. This research is done by collecting and reading some
resources such as books, journals, and data from internet. As a result of the
analysis, writer found that the aspect of leadership Jake shown is change and
organizational object and also show sense of responsibility, resolute confidence
and earning then re-earning respect. Jake shows character development from static
character to round character to foil character and to dynamic character. Jake
leadership style is transformational and it is affecting the other character by
helping them reach their full potential, become brave, confident and independent.
