Abstrak

Amalia  Chaerani  (31180018),  The  Social  Inequality  Impact  on  the  Main
Character in the Parasite Movie Directed By Bong Joon Ho.
The purpose of this study is to discuss the analysis of the social inequality impact on
the main character in the  Parasite movie directed  by Bong Joon Ho, which was
released in 2019. The writer uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing and
analyzing the movie. For collecting the data, the writer uses a lot of references from
the internet such as the Library Genesis, the references that the writer has taken are
also useful for supporting this paper. The Parasite is a movie that tells about the lives
of two families, Park's family and Kim's family, where the main character movie
experiences  a  difficult  life  because  they  come  from  the  lower  class.  The  social
inequalities experienced by two different families are portrayed, such as work, house,
food, and fashion. It also several scenes that show the social inequality impact on the
main  character,  Kim  Ki-Woo  which  has  been  analyzed  by  the  writer  there  are
economy, work, education, behavior, and crime. The Parasite movie also has many
moral messages that can be applied in everyday life.
