Abstract- The purpose of this paper is to identify the character development of the main character in Lady Bird movie directed by Greta Gerwig. The writer uses qualitative method of analysis. It requires the writer to understand the movie very well and be detailed at any aspects from the movie. Scenes from the movie that contains character development aspect from the main character, Christine McPherson are the data for this paper. The main character changed from a very bad person into a good person in the end of the movie. The movie itself is a movie that tells its audiences a bad teenager that lies about something for getting an attention, does something recklessly, and says something bad about anything but in the end, the main character realized that it is wrong and apologized to her mother and that is why the main character has the character development aspect that can be discussed in this paper.
