The research entitled "Analyzes Characterization Of Main Character From If I Stay Movie" aims to provide an explanation of the main character, namely Mia Hall, who is depicted in the film. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the character of Mia Hall, using Stanton's theory. Stanton suggests four specific ways of analyzing characters: what characters say and think, what characters do, interact between characters, and acts. The methodology used consists of three stages, namely, preparation, data collection, and data analysis. The data is taken from the film directed by R. J. Cutler and analyzed using an intrinsic approach to describe the character of Mia Hall. All of that is illustrated through the expressions, actions and dialogues, as well as the interactions between the characters in the film.
