In this era, many people like music especially English songs. They are interested in improving of English vocabulary they listened music and to read text on the song.  Many people who didn't understand the meaning of text song they are listening to. In the research will find out the figurative language of the songs Star and Rabbit which has a deep meaning and messages in the lyrics of the songs. The research objectives of this final assignment are to find out the types of figurative language used in the songs Star and Rabbit and to find out the meaning contained in songs Star and Rabbit. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method because the data were in written or oral form. The researchers carried out 6 steps of data analysis techniques that are: listening to songs, reading song lyrics, underlining words related to figurative language, identifying, classifying certain lyrics and finally reanalyzing song lyrics. The results of the research the author found that the language style in the lyrics of the song Star and Rabbit is Hyperbole and Personification.
