This study explores the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing in Maudy Ayunda's video titled "Jatuh Cinta sama Edinburgh!". Code-switching and code-mixing are common practices in multilingual societies, influenced by audience, topic, and cultural context. Maudy Ayunda, a bilingual public figure, frequently switches between Indonesian and English, reflecting her linguistic and cultural fluency. This study aims to identify the types of code-switching and code-mixing, determine the most dominant type, and understand the reasons behind these linguistic choices in the video. The research utilizes a qualitative method, employing content analysis to examine the linguistic elements in the video. Data were collected by transcribing the video and categorizing instances of code-switching and code-mixing according to predefined linguistic frameworks. The findings indicate that inter-sentential code- switching is the most dominant, followed by tag-switching and intra-sentential code- switching. This research contributes to the understanding of language use in digital media and its implications for bilingual communication.
