Film can change the quality of our lives, where if we watch a film with a film that contains good moral values in it, it is not uncommon for the audience to get good grades too, but on the contrary, if you watch a film containing bad moral values, it will be bad too moral values in everyday life. Film is also a medium of communication in which it conveys valuable messages to its audience. Moral values are related to human behaviour and personality. Method used by the writer is descriptive qualitative method in society people will judge well if they have good behaviour, personality and traits. In the synopsis of the film A Man Called Otto, Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks) is a 63-year-old man living in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After retiring from a steel company and being left by his wife who died, he spent his old age alone. Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks) is known as an angry man who no longer sees any purpose in life after losing his wife. In fact, he is ready to leave everything because he has had mental health problems for a long time. The purpose of this writing is to analyse the moral values in this film. This type of research is qualitative research. Which is where the data from this study were taken by watching movies and reading the script on the film. While the data collection technique used is documentation. There are several steps taken by the author to analyse the data, namely: (1). Watching movies, (2). Read script. (3). Identify the moral values contained in the film, (4). Draw conclusions.
