This research is entitled Existensial Anxiety Of Lorraine Warren In The Film The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The study is motivated by the phenomenon of existensial anxiety experienced by human beings when confronted with boundary situation condition in which individual become aware of their freedom, limitations, and responsibility of their own existence. The film portrays Lorraine warren as a religious yet rational figure who experiences deep inner conflict while facing demonic forces and moral dilemmas between faith , love, and spiritual duty.

The purpose of this research is to describe the forms, causes, and meaning of Lorraine warren’s existensial anxiety. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using an existensial psychology approach based on the theories of Soren Kierkegaard, Martin Heidegger, Jean Paul Sartre, Rollo May, and Irvin D. Yalom. The data consist of dialogues, scenes, and visual expressin that reveal Lorraine’s psychological and spiritual struggles in the Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

The film does not merely present supernatural horror, but also serves as a philosophical reflection in the human struggle against inner fear. Lorraine warren’s existential anxiety represents the universal human conflict between faith and reason, revealing that anxiety is an integral part of journey toward finding life’s true meaning.
