Mental illness of the main character in joker movie based on psychological perspective

The purpose of this study is to analyze the main character who is described as having  Mental Illness. The film, titled Joker, which was released in 2019, was directed by  Todd Phillips. The author chooses the Joker movie and uses the main character as the  object of this research. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive  method. The results of this study are (1) What are the mental illnesses that happened to Joker Movie (2.) What are the causes of mental illness reflected by the main  character in the Joker movie? According psychological perspective in this study, it was  found that the main character Arthur Fleck suffered from mental illness. In the  course of his life suffering from the disease he feels that his life has no meaning at all  so he feels good luck is not on his side, the characteristics of those who suffer from  mental illness or having negative thoughts and not caring about social norms that  apply in an environment. Public. The most influential factors in his life are biological  factors, namely genetic inheritance, the second psychological factor, such as trauma,  one of the factors is his mother and the third is losing his only job.
