The advancement of telecommunication technology has driven the need for high-speed, high-capacity, and reliable internet networks. The limitations of copper cables in supporting stable data transmission are the main reason for implementing Fiber to the Home (FTTH) with Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. This study aims to design and implement a GPON-based FTTH network at Taman Rasuna 18 Apartment to improve internet service quality. The methods used include field observations, interviews with technicians, literature review, Link Power Budget calculation, and network testing. The development model focuses on the distribution of active and passive devices, cable route optimization, and testing of technical parameters such as attenuation and rise time. The results indicate that the GPON-based FTTH network meets technical standards with acceptable attenuation, stable connections, and high speeds. This implementation not only improves service quality compared to copper cables but also prepares the infrastructure to support future digital services such as high-quality video streaming, online conferencing, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things.
