THE EFFECT OF USER INTERFACE AND USER EXPERIENCE ON HRIS WORK EFFICIENCY AT PT MINARTA DUTAHUTAMA: A UEQ APPROACH

Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) are increasingly being used to improve efficiency in managing employee data and administrative processes. However, the success of HRIS implementation is determined not only by its technical functionality, but also by the quality of its User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). This study aims to analyze the influence of UI and UX on employee work efficiency at PT Minarta Dutahutama. This study uses a quantitative approach with random sampling techniques involving 99 respondents from a total population of 198 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that UI has a significant positive effect on work efficiency, UX also has a significant positive effect, and both together significantly affect employee work efficiency. The adjusted R² value of 0.761 indicates that 76.1% of the variation in work efficiency can be explained by UI and UX. These findings highlight the importance of designing HRIS systems that are not only functional but also user-friendly and satisfying, which can ultimately improve employee productivity and organizational performance.
