Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh sistem kerja shift dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. TACI yang beroperasi selama 24 jam. Penerapan sistem kerja shift diperlukan untuk menjaga kontinuitas produksi, namun berpotensi menimbulkan kelelahan, gangguan pola tidur, serta stres kerja yang berdampak pada kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, lingkungan kerja yang mencakup aspek fisik dan nonfisik memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan kondisi kerja yang aman, nyaman, dan produktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem kerja shift dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial maupun simultan. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif pendekatan statistik. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan bagian Assembling Line 1B PT. TACI yang berjumlah 31 orang dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil uji menunjukkan secara parsial sistem kerja shift tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan, sistem kerja shift dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kontribusi sebesar 42,2%. Penelitian ini diharapkan bahan pertimbangan manajemen dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui perbaikan lingkungan kerja yang lebih kondusif dan berkelanjutan.

This study examines the effect of shift work systems and the work environment on employee performance at PT. TACI, a company operating on a 24-hour basis. The implementation of shift work systems is necessary to maintain production continuity however, it may lead to fatigue, sleep disturbances, and work-related stress that can negatively affect employee performance. In addition, the work environment, encompassing both physical and non-physical aspects, plays an important role in creating safe, comfortable, and productive working conditions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of shift work systems and the work environment on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative method with a statistical approach. The population as well as the sample consists of all employees of the Assembling Line 1B department at PT. TACI, totaling 31 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that, partially, the shift work system does not have a significant effect on employee performance, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the shift work system and the work environment have a significant effect on employee performance, with a contribution of 42.2%. This study is expected to provide managerial considerations in improving employee performance through the development of a more conducive and sustainable work environment.
