ABSTRAK

Film dokumenter ini mengupas perjalanan sejarah dan dinamika perkembangan kopi di Provinsi Lampung, salah satu daerah penghasil kopi terbesar di Indonesia. Dimulai dari masa kolonial Belanda yang memperkenalkan tanaman kopi ke wilayah pegunungan Lampung, dokumenter ini menelusuri bagaimana komoditas ini membentuk struktur sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya masyarakat lokal. Melalui wawancara dengan petani, sejarawan, dan pelaku industri kopi, film ini mengungkap peran kopi sebagai tulang punggung ekonomi rakyat, tantangan yang dihadapi petani dari masa ke masa, hingga transformasi kopi Lampung dalam era modern sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup dan identitas daerah. Dengan pendekatan visual yang kuat dan narasi yang mendalam, dokumenter ini tidak hanya merekam sejarah, tetapi juga menjadi refleksi atas masa depan kopi Lampung di tengah perubahan zaman.

This documentary explores the historical journey and dynamics of coffee development in Lampung Province, one of the largest coffee producing regions in Indonesia. Starting from the Dutch colonial era that introduced coffee plants to the Lampung mountainous region, this documentary traces how this commodity shaped the social, economic, and cultural structures of the local community. Through interviews with farmers, historians, and coffee industry players, this film reveals the role of coffee as the backbone of the people's economy, the challenges faced by farmers from time to time, to the transformation of Lampung coffee in the modern era as part of a lifestyle and regional identity. With a strong visual approach and in-depth narrative, this documentary not only records history, but also reflects on the future of Lampung coffee amidst changing times.
