This study focuses on the implementation of vocabulary learning through songs in English instruction for 5th-grade students as part of the Kampus Mengajar Batch 6 program. The primary aim is to enhance vocabulary acquisition by utilizing songs as an engaging and effective educational medium. The use of songs is expected to help students retain new vocabulary more easily and create a more enjoyable learning experience. This research employs a qualitative method, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation at SDN Cibeuteung Udik 02, particularly in grade 5. The findings indicate that incorporating songs into vocabulary learning plays a significant role in improving students’ interest and motivation in learning English. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers be more active in using various media, strategies, and techniques that are appropriate to the subject matter to achieve learning objectives.
