Teachers require media to support their instruction in the classroom. Media is a tool used by teachers in teaching, apart from using books or lecture methods, teachers are also expected to have different learning media and modify the content and environment for each student. In today's rapidly advancing technological landscape, it is essential for everyone to grasp and effectively use technology to enhance a variety of activities, including education. Both teachers and students can benefit from technology-based learning tools, such as the Canva application. Canva is an online platform that provides a wide range of templates, features, and categories for creating visually appealing designs. Its diverse and captivating patterns make
learning more engaging and interesting. Writers used the Canva application to engage students and enhance their interest in learning to write. This study aimed to evaluate whether using Canva has a significant impact on students' ability to write procedural texts. The research followed a five-stage procedure: 1) Conducting a pre-test, 2) Introducing students to the Canva application, including its benefits and usage, 3) Teaching procedural text writing through Canva, 4) Practicing writing procedural texts, and 5) Conducting a post-test. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students' ability to write procedural texts, demonstrating the effectiveness of Canva as a tool for enhancing writing skills.
