Barbie the Movie is a historic movie for Mattel. Because after 64 years of being created, finally last year it got debuts on the screen with eye-pleasing cinematography. The Stereotypical Barbie's role as the primary character plays a crucial role in the movie as representing a perfect woman in Barbie Land. The aim of the research is to analyze psychological in nature in her journey that might bothersome to her. This reflects by some patterns named Archetype in her personality traits and behaviour in dealing with several stages of the storyline. Data collection method of this thesis uses the movie Barbie the Movie (2023) and examined using Carl Gustav Jung's Archetype theory. The author using descriptive qualitative method as detailed explanation of ‘Stereotypical Barbie’ archetypes in controlling the storyline. The findings are 7 archetypes represented by Stereotype Barbie in different stages of the story that lead her on a journey of self-discovery. There are: Persona, Shadow, Animus, The Great Mother, Heroine, Trickster, and Self.
