This research aims to analyze the mental disorder suffered by Kevin Wendell Crumb, who is the main character of M. Night Shyamalan's Split movie. Dissociative identity disorder is the main character Kevin Wendell Crumb's mental illness that makes it difficult for him to survive. There are several steps in taking data; watching the film several times, looking for the most interesting parts of the film to analyze, and making conclusions from the analysis. The results of the analysis movie; (1) There are 3 types of symptoms found by the author in this study. (2) The cause of the mental disorder experienced by Kevin Wendell Crumb. (3) The impact of the mental disorder suffered by Kevin Wendell Crumb. (4) The treatment obtained by Kevin Wendell Crumb. The results of this study show that how mental illnesses affect people personally. Separate identities brought on by dissociative identity disorder can result in self-harm, murdering or injuring others, and hallucinations. This research uses the pshycoanalysis method.
