This research focuses on the lexical meaning and contextual meaning in the album Nicole by NIKI. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method by analyzing the lexical and contextual meaning in the song lyrics. The aim of this research is to 1. Explain the lexical meanings in the album Nicole by NIKI. 2. Explain the contextual meanings in the album Nicole by NIKI. 3. Explain how many lexical and contextual meanings are in the album Nicole by NIKI. Six songs from different albums were selected by researchers. Researchers collected data from the song lyrics in Nicole album from the internet. Next, music that has lexical and contextual meaning
is selected. Researchers found that 43 words are lexical and have contextual meaning. Therefore, researchers hope that this research will be useful for other semantic researchers who want to expand their knowledge.
