            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis sentimen pada performa Timnas Indonesia pada era kepelatihan Shin Tae-Yong dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes dan Decision Tree berbasis SMOTE. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data-data dari komentar-komentar para fans Timnas Indonesia melalui Instagram dan kemudian di olah agar mendapatkan hasil yang di inginkan. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data berupa observasi melalui akun Instagram dari Timnas Indonesia. Data awal yang terdiri dari 300 komentar pengguna Instagram yang akan di dapatkan dari teknik pengumpulan data yang disebut Data Scapping yang kemudian data tersebut di lanjutkan dengan proses Cleaning dan labeling untung mendapatkan data yang sudah bersih dari simbol-simbol khusus. Secara keseluruhan, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model Decision Tree memiliki performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan model Naïve Bayes sebelumnya, terutama dalam hal recall untuk kelas positif yang cukup tinggi. Namun, recall untuk kelas negatif hanya 25%, yang menunjukkan bahwa model ini mungkin kesulitan mengenali beberapa contoh negatif. Selain itu penulis juga menemukan bahwa ternyata fans Timnas Indonesia sangat mencintai Timnas Indonesia .

            ABSTRACK

            This research aims to conduct sentiment analysis on the performance of the Indonesian National Team in the Shin Tae-Yong coaching era using the Naïve Bayes algorithm and SMOTE-based Decision Tree. This research collects data from comments from Indonesian National Team fans via Instagram and then processes it to get the desired results. The method used in this research is data collection in the form of observations via the Instagram account of the Indonesian National Team. The initial data consists of 300 Instagram user comments which will be obtained from a data collection technique called Data Scapping, which is then continued with the Cleaning and Labeling process to obtain data that is clean from special symbols. Overall, these results show that the Decision Tree model has better performance than the previous Naïve Bayes model, especially in terms of recall for the positive class which is quite high. However, the recall for the negative class is only 25%, which suggests that the model may have difficulty recognizing some negative examples. Apart from that, the author also found that it turns out that Indonesian National Team fans really love the Indonesian National Team.
