Abstrak
Dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi tersebut banyak perusahaan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi
dalam proses bisnisnya salah satunya sistem penggajian sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja dari sebuah
perusahaan. Mengingat pentingnya peranan sistem penggajian, maka sistem tersebut harus didesain dengan baik
agar dapat memberikan layanan yang mencukupi untuk karyawan. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi
perusahaan ini dalam hal proses perhitungan gaji pokok, upah lembur, insentif dan tunjangan-tunjangan serta
potongan lainnya masih terjadi human error. Masalah lain yang timbul adalah ketika pegawai membutuhkan slip
gajinya bagian Keuangan hanya memberikan slip gaji yang di olah menggunakan Ms. Excel. Adanya data yang
hilang, banyaknya waktu yang dibutuhkan saat melakukan pencarian data gaji pegawai akan memperlambat proses
pengelolaan data pada bagian Keuangan. Adapun maksud dari penulisan Skripsi ini, untuk mengetahui sistem
penggajian yang sedang berjalan pada PT Ugasan Berkat Jaya Bogor, memberikan usulan dengan merancang
sistem penggajian yang terkomputerisasi, sehingga sistem pengolahan data tersebut menjadi lebih akurat, cepat
dan lebih baik, merancang sistem informasi penggajian pegawai yang dapat menghasilkan output berupa laporan
yang dibutuhkan sesuai kebutuhan pada PT Ugasan Berkat Jaya Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam
penulisan Skripsi ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data dan model pengembangan software. Dari keseluruhan
pembahasan penulis menyimpulkan dengan adanya sistem informasi penggajian bagian keuangan tidak perlu lagi
melakukan rekap absensi, memudahkan bagian keuangan dalam hal menghitung gaji pegawai, pegawai dapat
melihat informasi gajinya, memudahkan dalam membuat laporan-laporan terkait.

Abstract
With the development of information technology, many companies utilize information technology in their business
processes, one of which is the payroll system so that it can improve the performance of a company. Given the
important role of the payroll system, the system must be designed well in order to provide adequate services for
employees. The problems faced by this company in terms of the process of calculating basic salary, overtime pay,
incentives and allowances and other deductions still occur human error. Another problem that arises is when
employees need their pay slips, the Finance department only provides pay slips that are processed using Ms. Excel.
The presence of missing data, the amount of time needed when searching for employee salary data will slow down
the data management process in the Finance department. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the
payroll system that is currently running at PT Ugasan Berkat Jaya Bogor, to provide suggestions by designing a
computerized payroll system, so that the data processing system becomes more accurate, faster and better, to
design an employee payroll information system that can produce output in the form of reports needed according
to the needs of PT Ugasan Berkat Jaya Bogor. The research method used in writing this final assignment is data
collection techniques and software development models. From the overall discussion, the author concludes that
with the existence of a payroll information system, the finance department no longer needs to recap attendance,
making it easier for the finance department to calculate employee salaries, employees can see their salary
information, making it easier to make related reports.
