Indonesia's digital economy has great potential to grow, with 77% of Indonesia's population being active internet users by January 2023. PT Kamandaka Premium Car, a car rental company located in Bekasi City, currently still uses a manual recording system for vehicle rentals, which is prone to data input errors and data loss. Therefore, the author proposes the development of a digital car rental system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and CodeIgniter (CI) application with PHP language. This system is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the vehicle rental and handover process, as well as assist the admin in managing rental/contract data better. The purpose of this research is to fulfill one of the requirements to obtain a Bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Engineering & Informatics, Department of Information Technology, Bina Sarana Informatika University Cikarang, and improve data efficiency in the car rental process. The results of this system design are expected to help PT Kamandaka Premium Car in avoiding data input errors, loss/damage of data, and increasing the company's operational efficiency.
