PT Urun Bangun Negeri (URUN) is a financial technology (fintech) company engaged in Sharia-compliant crowdfunding services, also known as Sharia Securities Crowdfunding. Through a digital platform called Urun-RI, the company connects business owners (Issuers) in need of funding with investors (Funders) who wish to invest in a halal and Sharia-compliant manner. An attendance system plays a vital role in both educational and corporate administration. However, many institutions still use manual, paper-based attendance methods that are prone to fraud, data loss, and slow recap processes. To address these issues, this study proposes the design and development of an Android-based attendance application using the Kotlin programming language. The application is integrated with a web-based BackOffice system through a REST API built using the Laravel framework. The REST API facilitates real-time data exchange between the mobile application and the server using JSON format over HTTP protocol. The system development method used is the Waterfall model due to its systematic and structured nature, which is suitable for projects with well-defined requirements from the outset. The results of this study are expected to provide an effective and efficient solution for attendance management, replacing conventional systems that are still widely used. Additionally, this system can serve as a reference for the development of similar applications in the future.
